Oscill8 kicked off 2018 with our first official event at Broken City in Calgary. On his way to a residency at the Banff Centre for the Arts to work on a 3D model design for his new voice controller, Moldover hosted a talk about his music, controller design, and thoughts about the future. Moldover then provided the audience with a truly inspiring live performance, switching from guitar to his original performance controller.
Lokey opened the evening with his signature sounds weaving a tapestry of gritty and metallic noises and rhythms. Listen to his liveset from his bandcamp page.
On Off On rocked out a set on his Elektron rig, producing some funked up beats, inspiring melodies and dancy feels all around. If you haven't seen him play yet, be sure to check out his music!
Selci left the audience in awe with her beautul voice and truly great songwriting skills. A gem in the Calgayr music scene, who will be touring Canada and bringing her talents all over. Don't miss her show if you see her in your area.
Bread n Butta closed out the night with a funky soulful mix of original music to a great crowd. He effortlessly glides across the keyboard, jamming out the funk, and creating a vibe you can't refuse to dance to.
